The included mini-apps can be used to help you create an engaging innovative delivery style to keep the attention of your class.
Students use their own tablet or laptop device to connect to a Nexus class you start. With your permission they can them contribute content on the front of class screen from their tablet or laptop for everyone to see. Hosts can send files to participants and receive files from participants.
Users can search SMART Exchange and Classflow for keywords, thumbnail results appear directly in the Hive Cloud panel and users can drag content from here directly onto the page. Connect to your Dropbox and Google Drive account so you can drop your cloud files into the page.

During a Nexus collaboration session you can start times assessment or feedback sessions. These can be yes/no, multiple choice or essay questions. Once the allocated time is finished, Hive will automatically collate the answers and produce the results in a pie chart. This is great for identifying weak areas that may need a refresher.
To engage your audience
Teachers love this mini-app. Work on the main page and then pull down the ‘pull string’ to access a simple flipchart area where you can make additional notes you can refer during class.
